Removal Skates
Camdenwood offer a range of furniture removal skates or "dollies". This product is for moving cabinets, crates and other furniture items from A to B.
They are manufactured using a FSC Plywood base, which is fitted with 4 swivel plate casters (options below). The skate comes with a fluted rubber top to avoid slipping and a handle at one end for easy carrying. The 3 options we offer as our standard products have a different load capacities depending on the wheel colour, this is explained in the specification below.

Specification / wheel options
Base Size - 595mm x 595mm
Rubber Top - 3mm Fluted Sheet
Option 1:
100mm Diameter wheel with steel insert and a black rubber tyre with a load capacity per wheel of 70KG. Overall load capacity per skate 210KG.
Option 2:
75mm Diameter White Nylon wheel with a load capacity per wheel of 110KG. Overall load capacity per skate 240KG.
Option 3:
75mm Diameter wheel with acrylic centre and blue rubber tyre with a load capacity per wheel of 150KG. Overall load capacity per skate 270KG.
Another service we offer is to have the underneath of the skate engraved with your company name or logo.
This is a one off charge for the initial set up any orders thereafter the engraving will be put on free of charge as long as the details do not alter from the original request.
Skates can be collected from our premises or alternatively they can be sent by overnight delivery. Please contact us for delivery prices. We cannot deliver to a PO Box address. We hold limited stock of items 1 & 2 for immediate dispatch. Note engraving is not available on these.
